In the photos that have surfaced, Uddhav Thackeray is seen welcoming Anil Jaisinghani, who reportedly joined Shiv Sena in 2014.

Anil Jaisinghani is an Ulhasnagar-based bookmaker who is wanted in various cases registered against him and has been on the run since 2016.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut spoke to the media after the photos surfaced. He said, “If the BJP does photo politics, it will also release whoever the chief minister, deputy chief minister and their families have photos with. So it’s better not to talk about it. We’re not suing anyone’s family. We have never made a policy that will harm their families. But this bitterness was caused by Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra and by Amit Shah-Narendra Modi in the Centre.
Sanjay Raut added: “Eknath Khadse’s son-in-law is still in prison today. Fadnavis should answer that. Me, Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik – we all went to jail. But what is the reason? The allegations against us are true and the allegations against you are false? We have enough evidence that your family will go to jail. But we’re not going after your family. However, don’t force us to open our mouths. Otherwise, there will be political explosions in Maharashtra.
What is Aniksha Jaisinghani’s Quarrel?
Anil Jaisinghani’s daughter, Aniksha Jaisinghani, is said to have established a trustworthy friendship with Amruta Fadnavis and later asked Amruta Fadnavis to help accomplish her father’s acquittal through Devendra Fadnavis – the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Aniksha Jaisinghani offered bribes to Amruta Fadnavis for this and then started blackmailing her.
Amruta Fadnavis filed an FIR against Aniksha Jaisinghani who blackmailed her and threatened to share her photographs. Aniksha Jaisinghani is said to be a designer by profession. She also offered to provide Amruta with information about some bookmakers that could help her make money.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis gave a clarification in this regard in the state legislature on March 16, 2023, after NCP leader Ajit Pawar asked for one. In her statement, Devendra Fadnavis shared details of the bribe offered by the designer, the FIR filed by Amruta Fadnavis, the action taken by the police on this FIR and the findings of the case so far.
He claimed that during the investigation, it was discovered that the accused designer was offering a bribe to Amruta Fadnavis for the acquittal of her father Anil Jaisinghani, who is accused of numerous cases of betting, threats, cheating, etc., and is on the run. over the past few years and that accused designer Anishka was simultaneously recording videos of her various encounters with Amruta Fadnavis to use the videos for blackmail if her bribery attempt fails.
Devendra Fadnavis also claimed that according to police investigations, the accused Anishka was doing all this exercise under the guidance of certain politicians. He said Aniksha Jaisinghani had shared pictures of her father with many prominent politicians from various political parties and tried to Devendra Fadnavis said the accused also offered to Amruta Fadnavis that she would expose the leaders of other left if his father were released from the charges.
Aniksha Jaisinghani and her brother Akshan Jaisinghani are both arrested by the police. Akshan Jaisinghani complained of chest pains when police arrived at their home. He was therefore admitted to the hospital.
Cases against Anil Jaisinghani
Anil Jaisinghani is an infamous bookmaker who used to take bets worth several crores in IPL matches. He is an Ulhasnagar resident who is infamous for luring police officers with large bribes, filming the handing over of the money, and then blackmailing the police. One of his victims was an assistant police commissioner, who later resigned in desperation.
Jaisinghani is said to have links with betting syndicates in Dubai, Karachi and Delhi. He used to inform the police about other bookmakers and organize their raids as part of his drive to become the best bookmaker. Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister, said the same about Jaisinghani’s daughter.
